And the Golden Gl…Razzie goes to…Jackson Rathbone!

Now I know what you’re thinking, “Willow, I thought you love Jackson, and you support him.” I do and that is why I’m writing this, as a matter of fact. Earning yourself a Golden Raspberry could be considered embarrassing, or make you feel as if your career, all of your hard work has been in vain – BUT ALAS! I have a different take on things. For me, it’s almost as if you’ve earned your spot on the New York Times Best Sellers List. At first glance I would be insulted – if only atypically because so many horrible books make that list, at a deeper look, I’d realize it is those people who have become a household name, it’s saying “Look kid, you’ve made it. The world has took notice of you, so stand up and take a bow.”

So, the following is to offer a few words of comfort to Mr. Rathbone, whom is a very talented actor, that has been compared to the likes of Johnny Depp for his varying roles, his devil may care attitude, and for his love of the art, not the money.

Well, allow me to show you! [you knew it was coming didn't you? *Grin* I don't cite anything without backing it up]

Marlon Wayans and Shawn Wayans Nominations: 10 – Wins: 2
Burt Reynolds Nominations: 9 – Wins: 2
George Lucas Nominations: 9 – Wins: 2 [Side-note one of his nominations was for worst screenplay for 'Willow' COME ON NOW!]
Steven Seagal Nominations: 8 – Wins: 1
Ben Affleck Nominations: 7 – Wins: 2
Rob Schneider Nominations: 6 – Wins: 1

Admittedly I left several off of this list because they either bored me, or I thought that their Razzie was deserved on the actual merit of bad acting…having naught to do with the writers, directors, or any other outside interference.

The one thing you have over all of them? Besides youth, good looks, more talent, and passion for the performing arts? [So maybe I am stroking your...ego *wink*, but it's sincere.]
You have a Willow given nickname – Razzie Jazzie… [Since Jasper HALE did cause most of this shit, damn him] has a ring to it, no?

So embrace your Golden Raspberry, and give em all the finger. You’re a bad ass – I know it, you know it, everyone else knows it. They’re just jealous…
