I haven’t seen Friday the 13th or Nightmare On Elmstreet yet to judge if they were better remakes (besides Kellan Lutz getting killed in one) but most times the remake doesn’t live up to the original. They want to remake the classic, Carrie. Most of us have seen the movie and the made-for-tv version…so why do we need another remake? And incidentally, Carrie was Stephen King‘s first published novel, something I didn’t even know. And I know my Stephen King. Okay, let me take this back. It’s not being labeled a remake, but an re-adaptation of the original. Doesn’t that mean the same thing? |
