Picture of the Day: Shirtless Kellan Lutz Edition

Posted: 25 May 2011 08:54 PM PDT

I have to admit. I was studying and somehow I got to surfing and I saw this picture of Kellan Lutz. Now how am I supposed to finish studying now. It might just be impossible. That’s okay, I mean if I have to not do homework there would be no better subject than Kellan. Believe me.

P.S. It didn’t really matter what I said in this post. I know you are just looking at the picture of him. It’s okay. I don’t blame you.

The Perfect Age Of Rock ‘N’ Roll Starring Jason Ritter Trailer Premieres

Posted: 25 May 2011 04:36 PM PDT

Okay, shoot me. I’m partial to Jason Ritter and Kevin Zegers…so we all know that this post was a given. The new trailer for The Perfect Age of Rock ‘N’ Roll is out. We all would love to see what fame would be like…wouldn’t we? Did you know that 27 seems to be the magic number for fateful milestones with rockers–like Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison to Kurt Cobain. They were all lost when they were so young. In this movie the fame is at it’s high..what will happen?

World famous rock star Spyder (Kevin Zegers – Transamerica, Frozen) has achieved fame and fortune with a smash hit debut album. This blinding success however, is built on the Faustian pact that capitalized on the genius of his long lost childhood best friend and band mate, Eric Genson (Jason Ritter – NBC's The Event, Good Dick). Now Spyder retreats to his small hometown after his sophomore effort flops. Reconnecting with Eric after a seven year estrangement, the two recall their youthful ambitions and reexamine the choices they've made. Accompanied by the band's ambitious, fiery manager (Taryn Manning – ABC's Hawaii 5-0, Hustle & Flow, 8 Mile), the legendary music impresario August West (Peter Fonda – Easy Rider, 3:10 to Yuma) and a raucous crew of musicians, they set off on a cathartic journey along historic Route 66 that brings them closer to each other, their history and their destiny. Fueled by a stellar rock 'n' roll soundtrack that includes songs by Nirvana, Bob Dylan, Iggy & The Stooges, Alice in Chains, Muddy Waters, The Violent Femmes, Howlin' Wolf, Jane's Addiction, and many more, The Perfect Age of Rock 'N' Roll fully captures the energy, rebellion, and thrills of the rock 'n' roll lifestyle.

The movie hits theaters on August 5th.

My Favorite Oprah Episode…

Posted: 25 May 2011 02:50 PM PDT

If you live under a rock you might not know it’s Oprah Winfrey‘s last show today. I swear the show has been on since I was born. It probably hasn’t but it sounds MUCH better this way. I decided I would do my part and share my favorite episode of the show.

Picture it, November 1990. The New Kids on the Block were just at their height of goodness. I was 15, by the way. And I remember that they were on the Oprah show. Okay, I admit it. I taped it on my VHS tape and watched it many, many times. I might be able to recite the whole show for you. But at that young age, I couldn’t believe that they were on the show. I even wished I was one of the girls in the audience so that I could scream, “I LOVE YOU JOEY!!” Just once. I don’t think that was asking too much was it?

Oprah. You have influenced so many. You will be sadly missed.
