Blake Lively Covers Glamour

Posted: 01 Jun 2011 07:24 PM PDT

Blake Lively looks very glamorous  on the July 2011 cover of Glamour. Right now Blake has so much going on, her new romance with Leonardo DiCaprio and the nude pictures that everyone else says are real…but she says not. She’s also starring in, The Green Lantern, with Ryan Reynolds. This girl is on fire! Here are some highlights to the interview in the magazine:

On joining Twitter: "People ask me why I don't tweet. Honestly, I'm so sick of myself."

On becoming the new face of Chanel's Mademoiselle handbag: "It's such an honor. When I found out I got [the job], you and I went to dinner and concocted this plan, like two little girls at a tea party, saying, "Oh, it would be the best if we had a party. And you'll perform, and we'll do it in Paris." Like you and I were in charge of Chanel!"

On being her own stylist: "I think I became my own stylist by not knowing any better. And once I was told it was time to get one, I thought: This is one of my favorite hobbies! And I'm going to pay someone to steal my hobby from me? That's a terrible idea!"

On getting ready for an event: "I like it to be easy. I don't feel like I have to do so much with hair and makeup, because I'm the mannequin for these beautiful clothes, so I never want to do anything too distracting. Most of the time, I put my hair in a ballerina bun, and I take it down and it's wavy, and then I leave. I feel shy when people are fussing on me. And my diet of choice before events is a chicken potpie from Tea & Sympathy, because they never have enough food at these things."

On breakups: "Every relationship you have, you're learning and growing and taking something from that. So for me, it's never been too dramatic of a thing when something ends."

The issue hits newsstands on June 7th.

Don’t Be Afraid Of The Dark Starring Katie Holmes Trailer Premieres

Posted: 01 Jun 2011 05:31 PM PDT

Katie Holmes and Horror. I know that I didn’t think it could be done (actually I did know, but anyways), Katie has proved herself once again. She is starring in Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark. It hits theaters on August 26th.

Guillermo del Toro presents DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK, a horror film starring Katie Holmes, Guy Pearce and Bailee Madison, directed by Troy Nixey. Based on the 1973 telefilm that del Toro believes is the scariest TV production ever made, the story follows Sally (Madison), a young girl who moves to Rhode Island to live with her father (Pearce) and his new girlfriend (Holmes) in the 19th-century mansion they are restoring. While exploring the house, Sally starts to hear voices coming from creatures in the basement whose hidden agenda is to claim her as one of their own. Akin to del Toro's PAN'S LABYRINTH, DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK focuses on a young girl's struggle against menacing and terrifying forces.

Justin and Selena.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are an item. *Gasps*

I have heard everything from “their relationship is fake”, to a plethora of insults about how she doesn’t deserve him.
I normally don’t stick my nose into the extremely personal lives of ‘celebrities’, but for this kind of thing, I’ll make an exception.
They’re young.
They’re adorable.
They’re in like or possibly love.
If you don’t like it, then you need to evaluate why – because to me it just sounds like you’re jealous.
I say, if they are together, if they care for one another [and obviously they DO], then THAT is all that matters.
They aren’t dating you and quite frankly your opinions, no matter how snobby, or crappy do NOT factor into the equation and never should.
Happiness should not be weighed in other people’s opinions, but in your own.
Cut them some slack.

I say, FTW Justin and Selena – be happy and remember “Those who matter don’t mind and those who mind, don’t matter.”

Rob. Enough Said.

You know how they say ‘Clothes make the man’ ?
Well not in this case.
In this case, the MAN makes the clothes.
I swear, never in my life have I thought “Damn, that man can wear some slacks” before now.
When you trail your eyes up from the pants, that is if you can force yourself to do so – Hey take your time, I think I had to look at the pic for a good half hour before I could manage, you’ll see his ‘gig line’ is straight.
Having an affinity for military men, if you can keep your shirt, your belt and the button on your pants straight – then I definitely find a deep appreciation for you. And your eye for detail.
As if I needed another reason to drool over Robert Pattinson.
Well, I’m not complaining. In fact, someone pass me a bib and a bucket, I got this.
He was on set for his new movie “Cosmopolis“, something about a multimillionaire on an odyssey across Manhattan. All I know is, Rob himself wouldn’t give a rats ass about money, if he were locked in a room with me for ohhh 24 hours.
Hey Rob. Call me. *Winks*

The Hangover II

Posted: 01 Jun 2011 12:58 PM PDT

I waited for months in anticipation of this movie. On bated breath, not to be confused with ‘baited’ breath because that’s just – well *gag*.
[No comments from the peanut gallery about 'if it tastes like fish' either. Keep that loveliness to thyself. lol]
Anyhow, I made it to the theater to watch the movie – knowing full well, even if it sucked, it could not disappoint.
Why? Well, I have but one question for you – Have you SEEN Bradley Cooper’s stomach and back? I don’t care how horrid a movie may be, if it included those two things, it would be redeemed. Fully.
Hangover II was funny in it’s own right, comparable in most ways to the first one, yet different enough to be it’s own entity. My assessment? If you like crass, crude, guy like humor – by all means, rush out and see it.
If you are easily offended, and don’t get sarcastic wit – best just go see something else.
Might I suggest Kung Fu Panda 2?
