Rihanna gets in some R&R in her native Barbados before performing at an upscale soiree on New Year's Eve at the island's exclusive Sandy Lane resort.

The singer and her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown have some of us raising an eyebrow over recent tweets the two sent each other, with Brown tweeting "Love U more than u know!" One minute later, Rihanna replied, "I'll always love u #1LOVE."

Friday marked a special anniversary for David Arquette - one full year of sobriety. The actor took to his Twitter account to send friends and family a message from his heart-

"Today marks 1 year of sobriety for me. I thank God for the strength and guidance and my family and friends for their love and support & I [thank you]."

Arquette, who separated from his wife Courtney Cox in October 2010, entered rehab in Jan. 2011 for "alcohol and other issues."

Russell Brand and Katy Perry will be ringing in the new year separately. Brand has filed for divorce from Perry, filing paperwork with the customary "Irreconcilable Differences" being given as the reason for the split.

So who will see first in a new relationship in the coming year- Perry or Brand?

Best wishes for both as they once again navigate the murky waters of singledom.
