Sometimes, the things we do for our job. It was extremely painful to have to sit and watch this UK trailer of Magic Mike. There is a whole lot more stripping than in the US version. I’m not going to even include the American version, really all you need to see is this one. There is a lot of Channing Tatum and Alex Pettyfer, you might want to be sitting down. The synopsis goes like this: A dramatic comedy set in the world of male strippers, "Magic Mike" is directed by Academy Award(R)-winning director Steven Soderbergh ("Traffic") and stars Channing Tatum in a story inspired by his real life. The film follows Mike (Tatum) as he takes a young dancer called The Kid (Alex Pettyfer) under his wing and schools him in the fine arts of partying, picking up women, and making easy money. The movie hits theaters on June 29th and it’s interesting to note that it will be up against a movie Tatum is in, G.I. Joe: Retaliation. [source] |

Everyone loves a good horror movie and especially, The Possession, since it’s based on a true story. I think it’s what draws me in for this movie and Jeffrey Dean Morgan too. The trailer was released and I have to say that it gave me the shivers. I can’t wait to see this one! The synopsis goes like this: Based on a true story, THE POSSESSION is the terrifying story of how one family must unite in order to survive the wrath of an unspeakable evil. Clyde (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Stephanie Brenek (Kyra Sedgwick) see little cause for alarm when their youngest daughter Em becomes oddly obsessed with an antique wooden box she purchased at a yard sale. But as Em's behavior becomes increasingly erratic, the couple fears the presence of a malevolent force in their midst, only to discover that the box was built to contain a dibbuk, a dislocated spirit that inhabits and ultimately devours its human host. What do Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard have in common? They are both starring in the movie, Hit And Run. This one even has Bradley Cooper in it too! The synopsis goes like this: From the producer of Wedding Crashers – written and directed by and starring comic talent Dax Shepard (NBC's "Parenthood") HIT AND RUN is the story of Charlie Bronson (Shepard), a nice guy with a questionable past who risks everything when he busts out of the witness protection program to deliver his fiancé (Kristen Bell) to Los Angeles to seize a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Their road trip grows awkwardly complicated, when they are chased by the feds (led by Tom Arnold) … and increasingly dangerous, when Charlie's former pals, a band of gangsters (led by Bradley Cooper), enter the fray. It hits theaters on August 24th! |
