Happy 3rd Birthday TEN Gossip! Posted: 22 Jun 2011 04:40 PM PDT I can’t believe that TEN Gossip is already three years old. It seems like yesterday that I was talking to my boss at the time, Bumpshack, about it (and how he worked so hard to get the site up for me). Now look at how much the site has grown. It was just once me writing on the site but I took in my close friend, Willow Raine, who has pretty much been here since the beginning now. If there is anyone that I trust, it has to be her. The last year has been a tough one personally for me and now I’m happy to say that I’m finally getting back to where I can post again. And besides that Willow is back too, almost in full effect. We do need some more Top Tens though! Those are always a hit! I know usually I have my top ten posts for the year but today I can’t even think so I will have to do that another time. So, I’ll leave you with this open letter to the site. From me… Dear TEN Gossip, Thank you for blossoming into a three year old. When I first started you I didn’t expect to come this far. I just wanted a place to be snarky with my news. But you have given me so much more than that. I know it’s become a place of solace for me. A place where I know that I can be myself and people might even listen to me. Sometimes. I know that sometimes I am judged for what I do but since I’ve come this far I couldn’t imagine not being a part of it. Thank you for making Willow feel like home. For certainly…my home is here. Lots of Love, Taylor Blue P.S. Thanks to the fans and friends of the site that have stuck by the us through it all. Without you. We wouldn’t be here. xoxoxo
A New Abduction Movie Poster Released Starring Taylor Lautner Posted: 22 Jun 2011 03:56 PM PDT By now you have probably heard that Taylor Lautner is starring in the movie, Abduction. Today, a new movie poster was released for the movie. This one shows more drama than the first one, that is for sure. The synopsis goes like this: For as long as he can remember, Nathan Harper (Taylor Lautner) has had the uneasy feeling that he's living someone else's life. When he stumbles upon an image of himself as a little boy on a missing persons website, all of Nathan's darkest fears come true: he realizes his parents are not his own and his life is a lie, carefully fabricated to hide something more mysterious and dangerous than he could have ever imagined. Just as he begins to piece together his true identity, Nathan is targeted by a team of trained killers, forcing him on the run with the only person he can trust, his neighbor, Karen (Lily Collins). Every second counts as Nathan and Karen race to evade an army of assassins and federal operatives. But as his opponents close in, Nathan realizes that the only way he'll survive – and solve the mystery of his elusive biological father – is to stop running and take matters into his own hands. The movie hits theaters on September 23rd but if you can't wait for the movie to come out you can always catch them on Facebook or Twitter. [photo]
The New Footloose Trailer Released Posted: 22 Jun 2011 02:16 PM PDT Growing up my two favorite movies to watch over and over..and over again were Footloose and Dirty Dancing. Now, I sense a theme here but that is besides the point. So while I replayed, Let’s Hear It For The Boy, through my head while watching the trailer I saw that it has been updated. It has the cooler dancing in it. But still..it stayed true to the feeling of the movie. What is it like to see Dennis Quaid in John Lithgow‘s place? Here’s the synopsis: Writer/Director Craig Brewer ("Hustle & Flow," "Black Snake Moan") delivers a new take of the beloved 1984 classic film, "Footloose." Ren MacCormack (played by newcomer Kenny Wormald) is transplanted from Boston to the small southern town of Bomont where he experiences a heavy dose of culture shock. A few years prior, the community was rocked by a tragic accident that killed five teenagers after a night out and Bomont's local councilmen and the beloved Reverend Shaw Moore (Dennis Quaid) responded by implementing ordinances that prohibit loud music and dancing. Not one to bow to the status quo, Ren challenges the ban, revitalizing the town and falling in love with the minister's troubled daughter Ariel (Julianne Hough) in the process. It hits theaters October 14th. (And in the meantime I will try and forget both Zac Efron and Chase Crawford were supposed to be Ren but pulled out of it.)
