Liquid Zoo Tour: The Means of Monkeys Studying the Habits of Human Beings! Posted: 01 Jul 2011 11:19 AM PDT So, I just saw these guys [100 Monkeys] again, for the first time in over a year, on the 28th. Cincinnati, Ohio! Now, normally, I detest Ohio (No offense, I have my reasoning), so the fact that I’d travel 5 hours, yes FIVE HOURS to go see them, in a place that I cannot stand, attests to the love I have for them. Anyway! Their mini set at Best Buy was great, full of energy. Singing the Monkey Rap and cursing in store filled me with elation. Yes, even I can manage to let loose. It happens. *Laughs* Bogarts was a pretty rockin’ venue, the crowd was intense as always, the guys played their hearts out. Their passion, and talent never cease to amaze me, as such I always, ALWAYS tell anyone who asks me about my favorite live band, “100 Monkeys, hands down”. There truly is no contest, and believe me, I’ve seen plenty of bands in concert. You should click their name above, go to their website and look at their tour dates, promoting their new CD “Liquid Zoo”, and catch a show! Until then, do you know what you should do? Willow’s sound advice, and you know I’d never steer your wrong, I love you guys, is to go here Free the Monkeys! and buy the Album! You want music to think to, drink to, run amuk to, or *clears throat* to, then pop this CD in the player, it will fill all of your clean to dirty eargasm needs. Kevin Hammond Debuts Video for ‘Broken Down’ with Help from Vampire Diaries’ Kat Graham Posted: 01 Jul 2011 12:21 AM PDT Up-and-coming solo pop artist Kevin Hammond debuted his video for single “Broken Down” this week, and thanks to its star, Vampire Diaries actress Kat Graham, has already garnered attention from the Huffington Post to Perez Hilton. “Broken Down” is an anthem for anyone in a not-so-perfect relationship, and is the first single from the New York City-based Hammond’s forthcoming debut One of a Kind, due out later this summer. Ryan Tedder Performs ‘Good Life’ on The Voice With Beverly McClellan Posted: 30 Jun 2011 11:55 PM PDT On last night’s finale of “The Voice,” finalist Beverly McClellen took the stage to perform OneRepublic’s hit single “Good Life.”  The rocker from team Christina put her unique spin on the track alongside OneRepublic‘s lead singer Ryan Tedder. “Good Life” appears on OneRepublic’s album Waking Up which is on sale at iTunes for $7.99 until 7/4.  Fans who have previously purchased singles off of the album can use the “Complete My Album” feature to grab the CD for an even lower price.
