Shemar Moore Shirtless On The Cover Of Maximum Fitness

I think that it’s time to show Shemar Moore a little love. I mean I haven’t had a chance to catch Criminal Minds for a very long time. I used to watch it all the time. Shemar is shirtless on the July/August 2011 cover of Maximum Fitness. In the issue he talks about cheating death and his strong commitment to remain fit. Here’s what he said on cheating death:

"It was the scariest moment of my life. On that day, I did everything right. What went wrong was that I got hit by a 70-year-old in an old-school Cadillac going 40 miles per hour! I didn't see him or hear him coming—not a thing. I don't remember spinning or flipping off my bike—nothing. I got lucky—and then some."

In that three seconds the was weightless and airborne. He could have died or been paralyzed but he made it. I know how a near-death experience can change your whole thinking.

Chord Overstreet Not Returning To Glee…Darren Criss Is

Today, is a sad day. I’m going to take a moment of silence to remember Chord Overstreet. I know that one of my favorite things about last season of Glee was the addition of Sam. And I know my daughter just loved when he sang Justin Bieber too! I guess they were all leading up to that with the whole Quinn story line. Still, I will miss him since he’s not coming back next season.

But in good news, Darren Criss, is going to be a full-time cast member. Which means, he will have to just keep on singing Teenage Dream over and over to make up for Chord leaving.

Remember you can still see Chord in the 3D movie version of Glee that hits theaters August 12th. Now, there’s something to look forward to.

Happy Canada Day!

I am loving Princess Kate‘s Canada Day hat. And just to note it’s by Sylvia Fletcher at Lock and Company. Prince William and her were on their Canada Day whirlwind tour. I know that they are going to be in Calgary for the Stampede too. I wonder how many people will come see them then?

I spent the day remembering how Canadian I am. For it’s Canada’s birthday. Here are some of my favourite Canadian things…

1. Ketchup chips
2. Smarties (like M&M’s)
3. Fries Supreme from Taco Bell
4. Poutine
5. saying eh all the time
6. my cute accent
7. putting u’s in all words
8. singing the alphabet with a zed instead of a zee
9. saying pop instead of *shivers* soda
1o. getting asked to say ‘oot’ and ‘aboot’

Being Canadian is amazing. Especially on a day like this.
