Adele Covers British Vogue

Posted: 06 Sep 2011 10:52 AM PDT

Adele stole my heart the moment I heard her sing, Rolling In The Deep, that song striking my heart more than once. She is the cover girl for the October 2011 issue of the British edition of Vogue. She looks breath-taking per usual. Here are the highlights from the interview:

On her pre-show ritual: "I puke quite a lot before going on stage. Though never actually on stage. But then, I s— myself before everything … the bigger the freak-out, the more I enjoy the show!"

On the entertainment industry's obsession with weight: "I've seen people where it rules their lives, who want to be thinner or have bigger boobs, and how it wears them down. And I don't want that in my life. I have insecurities, of course, but I don't hang out with anyone who points them out to me."

On being single: "I do get massively distracted when I've got someone in my life, which I can't afford to do right now. Besides, no one treats me as well as I do."

On preferring sons over daughters: "I've always got on better with boys. Most of my friends are boys. Like, if I ever have children, I want five boys. Boys love their mothers whereas girls can be so mean to each other."

Ryan Gosling & Carey Mulligan Kiss In The New Clip From ‘Drive’

Posted: 06 Sep 2011 10:14 AM PDT

While I try and figure out a way to get to the Toronto Film Festival to see the premiere of this movie you can catch Drive in theaters on September 16th. In a new clip from the movie Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan kiss. Now the clip is blocked in Canada but I hear that it’s a passionate kiss. You know I will be looking for it somewhere else soon.

See the trailer for ‘Drive’ here.

The synopsis for the movie goes like this: Ryan Gosling stars as a Los Angeles wheelman for hire, stunt driving for movie productions by day and steering getaway vehicles for armed heists by night. Though a loner by nature, Driver can't help falling in love with his beautiful neighbor Irene (Carey Mulligan), a vulnerable young mother dragged into a dangerous underworld by the return of her ex-convict husband Standard (Oscar Isaac).

After a heist intended to pay off Standard's protection money spins unpredictably out of control, Driver finds himself driving defense for the girl he loves, tailgated by a syndicate of deadly serious criminals (Albert Brooks and Ron Perlman). But when he realizes that the gangsters are after more than the bag of cash in his trunk-that they're coming straight for Irene and her son-Driver is forced to shift gears and go on offense.

Taylor Lautner Covers Seventeen Magazine

Posted: 06 Sep 2011 09:28 AM PDT

Taylor Lautner is coming to theaters on September 23rd in the new movie, Abduction. But until then you can see him on the cover of the  October 2011 issue of Seventeen magazine. Here are the highlights from the magazine:

How old he was when he had his first kiss: “It was sometime in junior high. I don’t remember what year, but it was definitely in junior high. I think it was just with a random girl from school. I mean, it’s not like I walked up to her and was like ‘You’re just a random girl and I’m going to kiss you,’ but just a girl from school, and we had a little thing in junior high.”

His TV guilty pleasure: “One thing I watch off the hook because it’s on every single night up here [in Vancouver] and I usually can’t find it in the States that much is Dog: The Bounty Hunter.”

His worst habit: “I bounce my knees, but I do not have restless leg syndrome. I did an interview, I don’t even know who it was with, and they said I told them I have restless leg syndrome and it distracts me from my work. I do not have any syndrome. I actually have many friends [like me] who just bounce their knees.”

Whether or not it’s easy for him to talk to girls: “[Laughs] Oh, I definitely wouldn’t say I overcame that. I guess it just depends on the girl. Sometimes I’ll feel free to completely open up, and I wish I could do that more often because that’s what I look for in a girl. Someone that can open up and be herself, but no, I definitely haven’t overcome it completely.”

A relationship deal breaker for him: “If a girl doesn’t know how to smile or laugh or if they try to play cool all the time. Playing hard to get is not the way to win me over. I’m definitely more for the girl who can smile and laugh all the time and just have a good time!

This issue hits newsstands September 13th.

Celebrity Rewind: Jake Gyllenhaal & Jared Leto Edition

Posted: 06 Sep 2011 08:04 AM PDT

I was going through the hard drive on my computer the other day and I found this picture of Jake Gyllenhaal and Jared Leto.  It’s from a movie they were in back in 2002 called Highway. Jake’s hair is adorable like that. Right now, all of Jake’s hair is gone so it’s nice to remember the days when he had a lot of it.  I dedicate this post to him.

Okay, so I’m not quite awake yet and drinking McDonald’s Iced Coffee…hopefully, you understood this post at least halfway.
