Vampire Diaries Spoilers Season 3 Episode 2:The Hybrid

Posted: 07 Sep 2011 06:11 PM PDT

I know this year I am going to try and keep up with the spoilers for Vampire Diaries? Why? Because it’s one of my favorite shows right now and I want to share everything I can about the show. (AKA I’m obsessed with Ian Somerhalder and want a reason to write about him again.)

Here is the synopsis for the episode: This episode will undoubtedly focus a lot on Klaus, who is seeking even more power this season and puts a plan in motion in this episode to achieve it. To help, he has the unwilling participation of werewolf Ray Sutton (guest star David Gallagher). But even Ray’s help can’t stop things from going haywire. Back in Mystic Falls, both Damon and Alaric agree to help Elena with her new plan to find Stefan. But this plan ends with Damon having to fight a dangerous and unexpected enemy. Jeremy, who is still seeing the ghosts of his two dead girlfriends, decides to turn to Matt for help. After all, he’s seeing the ghost of Matt’s dead sister and he hopes his friend might be able to help him understand exactly why Vicki and Anna are haunting him. Tyler has to face his own demons in this episode when he’s forced to have an emotional confrontation with his mother. Caroline, meanwhile, is desperately in need of his help just when he’s forced to play “family therapy”.

Another New Clip From ‘Driver’ Starring Ryan Gosling

Posted: 07 Sep 2011 04:42 PM PDT

Just yesterday there was a clip of Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan kissing and today there’s another new clip. Drive comes to theaters on September 16th.

The synopsis for the movie goes like this: Ryan Gosling stars as a Los Angeles wheelman for hire, stunt driving for movie productions by day and steering getaway vehicles for armed heists by night. Though a loner by nature, Driver can't help falling in love with his beautiful neighbor Irene (Carey Mulligan), a vulnerable young mother dragged into a dangerous underworld by the return of her ex-convict husband Standard (Oscar Isaac)

After a heist intended to pay off Standard's protection money spins unpredictably out of control, Driver finds himself driving defense for the girl he loves, tailgated by a syndicate of deadly serious criminals (Albert Brooks and Ron Perlman). But when he realizes that the gangsters are after more than the bag of cash in his trunk-that they're coming straight for Irene and her son-Driver is forced to shift gears and go on offense.

‘Bloody’ New Vampire Diaries Season 3 Promo Pictures

Posted: 07 Sep 2011 03:56 PM PDT

I saw these promos for the third season of Vampire Diaries and had to post them right away. I mean there is so much symbolism in the fruits that we can’t ignore it. So where I got these pictures in the comments they explained what they thought the fruits in the pictures could mean.

Damon’s  (Ian Somerhalder) apple:  Apple is of course Temptation and is the "forbidden fruit".

Elena’s (Nina Dobrev) pomegranate: Pomegranate for (Persephone’s myth) Eternal Life (doppelganger) and also "Mankind’s Sinful choices".

Stefan’s (Paul Wesley) orange: Orange’s are in renaissance art and symbolize Free Will.

Klause’s (Joseph Morgan) pear: Pear for immortality…but it also symbolized marital faithfulness. (Which is fitting as he was born from his mother’s affair with a werewolf.)

What do you think? And is it a spoiler for the next season? It seems like the next week is going to drag. The season starts on September 15th.

A New Clip From ‘Abduction’ Starring Taylor Lautner

Posted: 07 Sep 2011 12:22 PM PDT

It’s almost September 23rd…there is less than twenty days until we see Taylor Lautner in something other than the Twilight Saga. I admit watching the new clip for Abduction that I was waiting for Bella to be around. I mean it just seems natural right? I’m glad that we can see Taylor in something other than that…I know that I enjoy Robert Pattinson in other movies too. It’s only fair.

The synopsis goes like this: For as long as he can remember, Nathan Harper (Taylor Lautner) has had the uneasy feeling that he's living someone else's life. When he stumbles upon an image of himself as a little boy on a missing persons website, all of Nathan's darkest fears come true: he realizes his parents are not his own and his life is a lie, carefully fabricated to hide something more mysterious and dangerous than he could have ever imagined.

Just as he begins to piece together his true identity, Nathan is targeted by a team of trained killers, forcing him on the run with the only person he can trust, his neighbor, Karen (Lily Collins). Every second counts as Nathan and Karen race to evade an army of assassins and federal operatives. But as his opponents close in, Nathan realizes that the only way he'll survive – and solve the mystery of his elusive biological father – is to stop running and take matters into his own hands.

If you can't wait for the movie to come out you can always catch them on Facebook or Twitter.
