My Favorite Movies Of 2011

It’s the end of the year and I’m hoping to get out all my favorites list by the end of the week. Today is my favorite movies. I think maybe it should be just called, The Year Ryan Gosling Made Amazing Movies, but I’ll let you judge for yourself. Here are my top six.

1. Drive – This was the year of Ryan Gosling. He was in the amazing movie Drive, you need to go see it. Period.

2. Crazy, Stupid, Love – Ryan and Emma Stone, they make the cutest couple ever. And Steve Carell proves he’s funny, once again.

3. Ides Of March – Ryan and George Clooney. You know you can’t go wrong with this one. I think that drama has always been a strong suit for Ryan, he proves it in this movie.

4. The Immortals – I have to admit that I watched this movie because of a shirtless Henry Cavill and Kellan Lutz. But when I went to see it I was stunned by the effects. I literally didn’t let my eyes leave that screen for one second. If you watch movies with me you know I get distracted easy. I was not distracted in this movie.

5. Sherlock Holmes 2 – I went to the theater to watch this movie just this week. Well, my son made me watch it. He wanted to watch whatever movie was playing in the seats that move. Well, I appeased him and went. I had heard many of my friends excited to see the second part of the movie. I hadn’t seen the first one at all. But with the seats moving every time there was a gun shot I felt very involved. And Robert Downey Jr., he was great in this movie. I honestly couldn’t imagine anyone else in the role of Sherlock than him.

6. The Change-Up – For a while there in the summer I was obsessed with movies with Jason Bateman in them. The Change-Up happened to be one of those movies that had him in it …and it had Ryan Reynolds in it too. The two of them in the same movie ended up with a lot of laughs. I enjoyed it immensely.
