| Brad Pitt: Needs Cane But Not Surgery For ACL Injury Posted: 08 Jan 2012 03:59 PM PST  Brad Pitt has been seen walking with a cane in recent days, and the actor explains it is necessary after he injured his knee while carrying his daughter Vivienne: "I was carrying my daughter [Vivienne] down the hill and I slipped," Pitt said. "It was either her or me." The good news is that the actor says he will not need surgery for his ACL injury ( a ligament in the knee that connects the femur with the tibia.) And more good news - Angelina Jolie is a fan of the cane. (We agree, Brad looks very dapper with cane in hand.) "I like the cane," Angelina told reporters on the carpet Saturday, adding that the injury hasn't slowed him down much at all. "He's not that kind of guy. He does everything still." Jolie also added that Vivienne, 3½, wasn't hurt in the fall. "Vivie's okay," she told reporters. "She was absolutely fine."      |

According to Nielsen Soundscan, Rihanna has moved almost 50 million digital downloads. That is 5 million more than The Black-Eyed Peas, who came in second as best-sellers of digital downloads. But while Rihanna's songs may be doing very well on iTunes and other download websites, CD sales of the The You Da One singer are another story. Daily Mail reports that none of her other albums has surpassed the two million mark. The top ten best-selling digital download artists, according to Nielsen Soundscan are: 1. Rihanna (47,571,000) 2.
