Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter…Is This For Real?

I was reading my Facebook updates earlier today and I stumbled upon this movie, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. I admit that I gave the screen a double take and wondered if this was like Human Centipede all over again. I love a good horror movie, anyone can tell you that. ESPECIALLY Drag Me To Hell, I can’t even explain how that movie grossed me out. That’s good movie making right there!

I am trying not to be too bias here. I sat through watching the trailer and I still was thinking it was a joke being played on me. Okay, I wonder where Ashton Kutcher is…I just think maybe…just maybe this vampire thing has gone too far? Vampires seem like they are all the rage. From Twilight, to Vampire Diaries, to True Blood. I have been SUCKED into these things too. But I think I know when enough is enough. Okay. Maybe I’m wrong. I don’t but in this case…

Producer, Jim Lemley describes the film as "a very committed version of Lincoln's life – it's what you don't know about Abraham Lincoln, turned on its head." So being fair to me…I’m Canadian and I don’t know much about Abraham Lincoln. Maybe that’s why I just don’t get it. But watch the trailer. Let me know what you think.

The movie hits theaters in June 2012.
