Sean Young vs. The Academy Awards: Who Should Apologize?

Sean Young says she was at the Oscars Sunday night sans a ticket to the prestigious celebrity ladden event just to take pictures for her Facebook page.

The actress found her ticket-less status was a no-no when a security guard allegedly asked her to leave the Awards show. From what we hear, Young did not appreciate the security guard's suggestion, and some sort of altercation then allegedly took place. According to TMZ, Young was placed under citizens' arrest by another member of the security team before being taken to the police station and booked for battery after the alleged altercation.

Young spoke with People.com on Monday, giving her side of the story-

"They said, 'No, you have to leave,' " said Young. "I started to leave and [the guard] grabbed my arm and he started pulling me. And I turned around and I was pulling my arm away – and I struck him."

Still, she maintains, it was the security guard who was in the wrong.

"They need to make a public apology on behalf of their security guard," Young told PEOPLE, also mentioning an attorney for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences whom she said suggested the citizens' arrest take place.

And in an interview Monday with X17 Online, the actress says footage from the night will exonerate her.

"I was well-behaved," she said in the video interview. "It was fine ... and the surveillance tape will bear that out. … It's atrocious behavior on the Academy's part."

So, we wonder, just how hard is it to get a ticket to the Academy Awards anyway? Oh yes, do you think Sean Young deserves an apology??

Last night at the Academy Awards, it looked like hands down an honorary Oscar would go to Angelina Jolie's right leg.

Not one to be out-shined, Miley gave the cameras a gratuitous peek at her sexy bared legs while enjoying Oscar night.

So. The question must be asked. Who had the best legs on display last night, Angie or Miley??

American Idol judging was on hold Sunday night while Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler enjoyed some after Oscar partying. Judging by those smiles, we'd say the parties were a big hit.
