According to his publicist Helen Kensick, Jones suffered a heart attack Wednesday (Feb.29) in Indiantown, Fla., where he resided. Michael Ochs Archives/Getty Images Davy Jones was an undisputed heartthrob of young girls everywhere as the lead singer of the Beatles-inspired made-for-TV pop group, The Monkees. When Jones guest-starred in the iconic TV classic, The Brady Bunch, he no doubt had many teen girls day-dreaming that they were Marcia Brady! Davy Jones was 66. R.I.P. Davy, you will be missed. source
